Seven weeks in, one team is still perfect. The Minnesota Vikings beat the Colts 16-10 on Sunday to move to 6-0, and after the Chiefs and 49ers both lost, they are the last unbeaten team in the league.

Defense first, second and third
This is not a team blowing people out. It's a team that suffocates them. Per NBC Sports research, Minnesota blitzed on 85.2 percent of Indianapolis dropbacks, the highest rate by any team in the Next Gen Stats era, which goes back to 2016. The Colts finished with 64 net passing yards after four sacks cost them 44 yards.
Blake Cashman was the centerpiece: 12 tackles, two sacks, three quarterback hits and four passes defended, per Vikings.com. Harrison Smith ended it with a game-sealing interception of Daniel Jones on the Colts' final drive.
It wasn't flawless. The Colts ran for 154 yards, according to NBC Sports, and the only reason that didn't hurt more is the pass rush made third downs miserable.
The offense is still a question
Kyler Murray and the offense had another slow start, as AP put it. The Vikings are winning games in the teens. NFL.com's Week 8 Power Rankings moved Minnesota to No. 1 and said it plainly: if the offense ever catches up, this becomes a strong Super Bowl favorite. That "if" is doing a lot of work right now.
History and what's next
Per NBC Sports, it's Minnesota's first 6-0 start since 2009, and the win streak, which stretches back into last season, is at 11, the second-longest in franchise history.
Next up is a trip to Detroit on Sunday, Nov. 1, against a 4-2 Lions team. That's the first real test of a stretch that will tell us whether this is a great defense with a good-enough offense, or a good team that's been a little lucky. Either way, nobody else is 6-0.
