NFL Week 10 Bye Weeks 2026: Fantasy Fill-Ins and Week 11 Warning

Updated November 6, 2026

Week 10 of the 2026 NFL season is the next big fantasy bye cluster: the Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are all off, per the NFL.com Week 10 schedule. That is four teams at once, and it lands one week before the season's heaviest bye week. This guide is for planning fill-ins now, while Week 9 is still being played. It is fantasy only; there are no betting angles here.

Which Teams Are on Bye in Week 10

Verified from NFL.com's 2026 schedule data on November 6, 2026, the Week 10 bye teams are:

  • Chicago Bears
  • Denver Broncos
  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If any of those clubs supply a large share of your starting lineup, you need replacements locked before Week 10 waivers clear. Our earlier note on the Steelers and Titans Week 9 byes used the same approach for this week's two-team bye; Week 10 is simply a wider hole.

Week 11 Is the Worst Bye Week of 2026

Also per the NFL.com Week 11 schedule, Week 11 has six teams on bye:

  • Atlanta Falcons
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Green Bay Packers
  • Los Angeles Rams
  • New England Patriots
  • Seattle Seahawks

That is the largest bye week on the 2026 calendar. Managers who only solve Week 10 and ignore Week 11 often walk into a two-week stretch with overlapping holes at the same positions. Plan both weeks together: a Week 10 streamer who also has a Week 11 bye does not help you twice.

How to Plan Two Weeks Ahead

A practical sequence:

  1. List every starter on a Week 10 bye. Count how many lineup slots open.
  2. Check the same list for Week 11. Mark anyone who is fine in Week 10 but gone in Week 11.
  3. Use waivers for one-week patches first. Our guide to how NFL waivers work covers claim order; fantasy leagues use their own waiver rules, but the idea of priority and free agency timing still applies.
  4. Avoid burning a high waiver claim on a player who only covers one of the two bye weeks if you still have a bigger hole the following week.

Roster construction tips in our NFL fantasy football strategy guide still apply: depth at running back and wide receiver is what usually absorbs bye weeks, not a single hero add.

Position Notes Without Invented Projections

We are not publishing projected points here. What you can do with public information:

  • Identify which of your rostered players belong to CHI, DEN, PHI or TB and will not play in Week 10.
  • Cross-check the Week 11 list so you do not stream someone who is also off next week.
  • Watch the official injury report for the players you plan to start in their place; bye-week fill-ins who are listed Out help no one.

For Week 9 lineup locks while you plan ahead, see our Week 9 fantasy start/sit framework.

Schedule Context

Week 10 games begin after the Week 9 slate ends on Monday Night Football (Bills at Vikings). Bye teams are simply not on that week's schedule. Confirm the bye list on NFL.com before you put in waiver claims, in case the league ever republishes a corrected schedule page.

What Bye Weeks Mean for Fantasy Lineups

A bye week is a scheduled week off. Each NFL team plays 17 regular-season games across an 18-week calendar, so every club sits one week. Fantasy players on those clubs score nothing that week unless your league has an unusual rule, which most do not. The job is to replace them with someone who is actually playing.

Bye weeks are not injuries. An injured player can return the next week or land on IR; a bye player is healthy and unavailable only because the team is off. That is why bye planning is mostly a roster-construction and waiver problem, not a medical one. Still, the fill-in you add has to clear the injury report for the week you need him.

Priority usually goes to starting slots first (quarterback, running backs, wide receivers, tight end, flex), then to defense and kicker if your league still uses them. If you are already thin at one position and that position is hit by both Week 10 and Week 11 byes across your roster, solve that position before streaming a defense.
