NFL Week 9 Injury Report Schedule: When Each Team Reports

Updated November 2, 2026

The first Week 9 injury reports are due today. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens play Thursday night, so under the NFL's Personnel (Injury) Report Policy their first practice report is due Monday, November 2. Most of the league starts Wednesday, and the Bills and Vikings, who play Monday night, do not file until Thursday. This page lays out the day each Week 9 team's practice and game status reports are due, built from the deadlines in the NFL's 2026-27 important dates and the matchups on NFL.com's Week 9 schedule.

Player names below come from official team or league reports only, with the date of each report. We will not list a status until the team files it.

Week 9 Report Calendar at a Glance

Every report is due by 4:00 p.m. New York time (1:00 p.m. PT), or as soon as possible after practice ends. The game status report, the one with Out, Doubtful and Questionable tags, comes on the last practice-report day.

  • Jaguars at Ravens (Thursday, Nov. 5): practice reports Monday Nov. 2, Tuesday Nov. 3 and Wednesday Nov. 4. Game status report Wednesday Nov. 4.
  • Bengals vs. Falcons in Madrid (Sunday, Nov. 8, 9:30 a.m. ET): practice reports Wednesday Nov. 4 through Friday Nov. 6. Game status report Friday Nov. 6.
  • All other Sunday games (Nov. 8): practice reports Wednesday Nov. 4 through Friday Nov. 6. Game status report Friday Nov. 6.
  • Bills at Vikings (Monday, Nov. 9): practice reports Thursday Nov. 5 through Saturday Nov. 7. Game status report Saturday Nov. 7.
  • Steelers and Titans: on bye, no Week 9 game.

The policy also requires teams to update a report if a player's condition changes after it is filed, so a Friday status can still move before kickoff. Final confirmation comes with game-day inactives 90 minutes before each kickoff.

Jaguars and Ravens: Reports Start Monday

Thursday night's game is Jacksonville at Baltimore, 8:15 p.m. ET (5:15 p.m. PT) on Prime Video. Both teams played Sunday, November 1, so they get three days to prepare and three reports to file. Monday and Tuesday reports in a short week are often estimates when a team does not hold a full practice; on days a team does practice, the league calendar says an estimated report is not acceptable.

The biggest name is already settled. Ravens coach Jesse Minter said Sunday that quarterback Lamar Jackson will have surgery on his right thumb and be placed on injured reserve, which will sideline him at least four games, per NFL.com's report on the Jackson injury. Jackson was hurt on the first offensive snap of Baltimore's 36-10 loss at Buffalo. Backup Tyler Huntley hurt his toe in the second quarter and was ruled out after halftime. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the injury is believed to be turf toe, and Huntley was scheduled for an MRI on Monday. Undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano finished the game, going 10 of 21 for 91 yards with an interception. The loss dropped Baltimore to 4-4.

Huntley's practice status this week is the line on Baltimore's report to watch. Our Lamar Jackson thumb surgery update covers the quarterback situation in more detail. Jacksonville also played Sunday, November 1.

Bengals and Falcons in Madrid

The Falcons host the Bengals at Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid on Sunday, November 8, at 9:30 a.m. ET (6:30 a.m. PT) on NFL Network. Because it is a Sunday game, the policy puts both teams on the standard Wednesday, Thursday and Friday report schedule, with game status designations due Friday, November 6. The deadline is stated in New York time, or as soon as possible after practice, and the policy text we reviewed does not set a separate schedule for games played abroad.

Cincinnati is 5-2 after beating Tennessee 43-36 on November 1. Atlanta is 3-5 after a 16-0 loss at Tampa Bay the same day. Kickoff is 3:30 p.m. local time in Madrid, per Bengals.com.

Sunday Games: When Final Statuses Post

Twelve more games are played on Sunday, November 8, covering 24 teams. All of them file practice reports Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with game status designations due Friday by 1:00 p.m. PT.

  • 1:00 p.m. ET (10:00 a.m. PT): Broncos at Panthers, Cowboys at Colts, Jets at Chiefs, Lions at Dolphins, Browns at Saints, Giants at Eagles, Rams at Commanders
  • 4:05 p.m. ET (1:05 p.m. PT): Texans at Chargers
  • 4:25 p.m. ET (1:25 p.m. PT): Raiders at 49ers, Packers at Patriots, Cardinals at Seahawks
  • 8:20 p.m. ET (5:20 p.m. PT): Buccaneers at Bears

The Bears and Seahawks play each other tonight, Monday, November 2, to close Week 8, per NFL.com. Both play again on Sunday in Week 9, six days later, and their Week 9 reports still follow the standard Wednesday-to-Friday schedule. Our Week 9 schedule and TV lists every network.

Bills and Vikings: Monday Night Timing

Buffalo visits Minnesota on Monday, November 9, at 8:15 p.m. ET (5:15 p.m. PT), with ESPN listed as the network on NFL.com. For a Monday game, the policy shifts everything back a day: practice reports Thursday, Friday and Saturday (November 5 through 7), with the game status report on Saturday, November 7. These are the last Week 9 designations of the week. Buffalo comes in off its 36-10 win over Baltimore.

Steelers and Titans on Bye

Pittsburgh and Tennessee have no Week 9 game, so neither has a game status report to file this week. Their next reports follow the calendar for their Week 10 games.

What the Designations Mean

Out means the player will not play. Doubtful means it is unlikely he will participate. Questionable means it is uncertain whether he will play. Players a team is certain will play are left off the game status report. On the practice side, the codes are Did Not Participate, Limited (less than 100 percent of normal repetitions) and Full. Our explainer on questionable vs. doubtful designations covers each term and how they changed, and our recap of the Week 8 Thursday injury report shows how a short-week report reads in practice.

Where to Find Each Report

NFL.com collects the reports for every team on its league-wide injury report page, which was still showing Week 8 on Monday morning. Each club also posts its own report on its team site. On game days, NFL.com's game-day inactives list confirms who is dressed.
